We are very pleased to showcase this classic casual button-down shirt, featured in light chambray blue, as part of our exquisite collection of formalwear.
The shirt features a pointed collar with floating interlining, which provides the garment with a soft roll. As well as incorporating buttoned down collar points and a centre back to help 'sit' correctly. A centre back box pleat provides ease of movement, along with a hanger loop for added sporting detail. Finished with white Australian Mother of Pearl buttons, which fasten through a front placket.
English fit for easy comfort, with a soft press finish to provide a clean and casual appearance. Can be styled and worn open-necked on its own, or under a blazer with a knitted tie in an inimitable Ivy style.
Woven in Japan, exclusively for The Merchant Fox on original narrow width and low speed shuttle looms, for the most authentic appearance and handle.
The yarn is hand dyed with natural indigo, and should be carefully and separately washed in cool water. Overtime, natural colour loss will occur, which will create a beautiful patina unique to each garment.
Please be aware that due to the nature of the fabric, natural slubs and inconsistencies may appear, which are valued characteristics of this special fabric.
